Faculties

The Faculty of Architecture at UACEG provides education and training in the "Architecture", "Urbanism", and "Landscape Architecture and Landscape Planning" (LALP) programs. It also trains postgraduate and doctoral students, conducts responsible research activities, and develops projects for significant architectural and urban planning sites.

The "Architecture" program was established in 1943 – one year after the founding of the first Higher Technical School in Bulgaria. In 1951, the Faculty of Architecture was founded with 8 departments.

The Faculty of Geodesy at UACEG provides training for students and doctoral candidates in three educational qualification degrees: "Bachelor", "Master", and "Doctor" within the professional field of "Architecture, Civil Engineering and GEODESY".

The Faculty of Geodesy at UACEG is the only one in the country and, as such, is the primary and leading unit for meeting the country's needs for professional personnel in the fields of: geodesy, cartography, cadastre, photogrammetry, remote sensing, real estate valuation, land and real estate management, European infrastructure projects management, land management, ecology, and environmental protection.

Faculty of Structural Engineering has a rich history and traditions – it is the first faculty of the oldest Bulgarian higher school of civil engineering. Its structure includes 7 departments.

Faculty of Structural Engineering possesses modern teaching and laboratory facilities. The higher education in civil engineering it provides is recognized by FEANI – an organization with a consultative status at UNESCO and the Council of Europe regarding standards related to the engineering profession. The Faculty of Civil Engineering is a member of the Council of Civil Engineering Faculties, alongside hundreds of related faculties from Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, and others.

The Faculty of Transport Engineering was established in May 1987 due to the need for training qualified specialists in transport construction. It includes five departments that provide education to students in the faculty's programs as well as in essential general education and engineering disciplines, namely: the Department of "Roads and Transport Facilities", the Department of "Railways", the Department of "Geotechnics", the Department of "Mathematics", and the Department of "Social Sciences".

Department

The Department of Applied Linguistics and Physical Education provides training in foreign languages, Bulgarian language, and mandatory physical education and sports activities in accordance with the curricula of the degree programs.
The Department consists of two sectors – the Applied Linguistics sector and the Sports Division sector.
